Decided to stop by on a whim and I am so glad I did. Food was exceptional, Guava smoothie was exceptional, the smells coming from the inside the truck while I was waiting was a clear indication of what was about to be handed to me. Amazing spot!!!
One bite of this amazing food took me straight back to my family’s cooking. This is authentic Cuban food at its best sabor, corazón, quality and quantity. I can’t wait to come back! One of the best concri in Texas.
This place was recommended by a Cuban coworker as a great place to get a tasty Cuban sandwich, the sandwich was delicious and definitely more than I expected 🤗, never tasted cooked plantains and I loved them from the first bite, the food is worth the price, I will definitely be coming back soon.
My family and I just had a great experience here. The food was cooked fresh, great portion sizes, and most of all delicious. My kids had cheese pizzas, and they were loaded with cheese! My husband had the rib plate, and the meat was fall off the bone tender and so flavorful. I had the roast pork and it was delicious. As we were eating, the chef gave us a sample of smoothie and another pork dish called fricasse. Both were so good. We left full and happy.
Nice food truck tucked away in the corner. Need to support local food spots in this town and this place is the spot!
😁 I enjoyed a delightful Cuban dinner in Seguin, Texas, right on the corner of King and Walnut. My plate featured a flavorful tamal—simple, comforting masa with no meat—topped generously with tender puerco asado. Beneath that delicious pile of pork were perfectly seasoned rice and black beans. On the side, I had crisp tostones and a small salad with fresh tomatoes and crunchy iceberg lettuce. Along with a refreshing Mango smoothie 😊 What an amazing meal Cone out and support A lo Cubano! You will enjoy!
This place is soooo gooood!!! Got the cerdo asado (roast pork) plate. It comes with seasoned rice and black beans, a small salad and side of yuca. It was absolutely delicious!!! Though I love Cuban food so I wasn't surprised. The amount of meat alone is enough for 2, maybe 3 people depending. There were plenty of rice and beans also, but still hard to find under that amount of meat. I just expected the salad to be dry with no dressing, but even it was super delicious with an Italian type dressing on it. Yuca was seasoned very well and absolutely delicious also. My mouth is watering just writing this review. I will definitely be back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful as well. There are a couple of picnic tables if you want to eat there. We took ours home.
The food was wonderful, the tamales were not what I am used to but they were so good and the smoothies are DELICIOUS. I got one of each mango and mamey. I had never tried mamey before but it was very similar to papaya yet with a creamier flavor and texture to it. The pizza was also really really good. My girlfriend got the Hawaiian and the ham they had on it was thick and delicious. The pizza was super cheesy and the dough had a great texture to it. Definitely recommend this place, but if you do come have your Spanish ready they do not speak a whole lot of English.
